  • The American Craft Council is sunsetting its library and archives program and donating its collections to the Center for Craft in Asheville, North Carolina. Beth Goodrich, archivist for ACC, will be leaving the organization as of Dec. 5. She can be reached at bgoodrich29 [at] gmail [dot] com going forward.
  • Backlog, an archival consulting firm based in St. Louis MO, is offering a series of free webinars in 2026 on topics including accession/acquisition/appraisal, metadata, archival loans, restricted materials, knowledge management, and digital preservation.   • Nominations are open for SAA’s J. Franklin Jameson Archival Advocacy Award, which recognizes individuals, institutions, or organizations outside the archival profession that promote public awareness, appreciation, or support of archival activities or programs. Nominations should be sent through the online submission system by February 28.
