Save the Date!! TCART Fall Meeting Nov. 17th

College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, MN

The meeting will include tours of both the College of St. Benedict Archives with our host, Peggy Roske, and the St. Benedict’s Monastery Archives with Sister Renee Rau. Please plan to join us!

We will meet in the Teresa Reception Center (TRC), which is located in the building marked “A” on the campus map, http://www.csbsju.edu/About/At-a-Glance/CSB-Campus-Map.htm. The Monastery Archives are in “B,” and the College Archives are in “H”. Parking will be in Lot 1 or Lot 15.

Twin Cities Archives Roundtable Survey

TCART is conducting a survey of its members and other interested parties. The survey has two purposes:

1) The leadership would like to better understand the interests of TCART members and the Minnesota archival community. How can we improve the organization to meet your needs?

2) It has been six years since the Society of American Archivists conducted the A*CENSUS, the first truly comprehensive nationwide survey of the archives profession. We would like to check in with the Archives community in Minnesota to see what has changed in our region.

Join or Renew Now!

Are you an archivist new to the area or new to the profession? A student interested in becoming an archivist? A past member of TCART who has let their membership expire? A current member of TCART who has not yet sent in their renewal form?

July 1st is quickly approaching; don’t forget to send in your TCART membership form to join as a new member or to renew an expired or existing membership.

Membership in TCART runs the calendar year from July 1 through June 30. Benefits include semi-annual newsletters, two meetings a year that include a visit to a local archive, and the opportunity to connect with your colleagues. Dues are $10 for the year.
