2022 Minnesota Archives Symposium — Wrap-up Report

Thank you to everyone who attended the 2022 Minnesota Archives Symposium on November 7, 2022. We had 72 members join us in person at Andersen Library at the University of Minnesota and 26 join us virtually. Special thanks to Heidi Heller and the Minnesota Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church who hosted our virtual portion.

We are very grateful for our keynote speakers Mishaila Brown and Ben Gessner, visiting speakers Stephen Curley and Fallon Carey for sharing their stories and experiences with us. Thank you also, member speakers: Sarah Barsness, Allison Eckberg, Carly Kantor, Perry Schussler, Jennie Shaw-Spence, Lara Friedman-Shedlov, Jacqueline Mosio, Joyce Lopez, Beth Heemeyer, Joe Larsen, Clare Pavelka, and Allison Spies for participating. Presentation slides and posters are available, please contact TCART Communications Officer for copies.

Thank you also to Saving Tape, our sponsor of this year’s Symposium. A special thank you to the Planning Committee for your time and flexibility during the planning process and during the event. These meetings would not have been possible without their time and efforts.

We try to make these events as accessible to our membership as possible and moving forward we will prioritize safety while still striving for in-person and hybrid events. If you would like to join the committee for next year’s Symposium please contact the Communications Officer at tcartmn@gmail.com
